- • Adviskin Fast (£55): Report within 1 day.

That depends on the option you choose. Adviskin Fast and Adviskin Plus provide your medical report within 1 day, while Adviskin Basic delivers it within 3 days.

- Answer tailored questions with our AdviQuest smart form.

What exactly is included in the assessment report?
Every Adviskin report includes a clear medical evaluation and personalised advice. Specifically, your report provides:
- • A medical evaluation of your skin concern
- • Personalised treatment recommendations (where appropriate)
- • Medical advice and suggested next steps
If anything is unclear, you can ask follow-up questions through myAdviskin — our doctors will be happy to assist.
Who can use Adviskin?
You must be 18 or older to submit your own case. Parents or guardians can submit cases for children aged 0–17. You may also use Adviskin on behalf of another person who cannot access digital tools.
Can I use Adviskin for my baby or child?
Yes. Parents and guardians can submit a case for any child aged 0–17. Our AdviQuest smart form will guide you with child-specific questions, and your case will be reviewed by a paediatrician specialising in dermatology.
Can I use Adviskin for someone else?
Yes. You can submit a case on behalf of someone else — such as a parent, partner, or person in your care – especially if they’re not comfortable using digital tools. Just answer a few questions and upload photos. For full privacy, avoid uploading any images that show the person’s eyes or identifiable features.
Can I ask questions after receiving my report?
Yes. You can submit clarifying questions via myAdviskin at no extra cost, and our doctors will provide clarifications to ensure your report is fully understood. While it isn’t a live chat, our medical team responds in a timely manner.
Can I use Adviskin without giving personal details?
Yes. Adviskin allows you to stay completely anonymous. You do not need to enter a name, ID, or email. Your secure access code is all that’s required to retrieve your medical report.
How does the Multi-Use Pack work?
The Adviskin Multi-Use Pack lets you save on multiple consultations. It gives you 3 consultations at a reduced price — either 3 Adviskin Basic Packs for the cost of 2, or 3 Adviskin Fast Packs for the cost of 2. Each counts as a full consultation and can be used by you, a family member, or even a friend.
Is the photo quality of a normal phone enough for Adviskin to assess my case?
Yes. Most modern smartphones are more than sufficient. Make sure your photos are well-lit, in focus, and clearly show the affected skin area. Our AdviScope tool automatically enhances uploaded images to help our doctors assess your case more accurately.
Do I need a referral to use Adviskin?
No. Adviskin is a direct-access service. You do not need a GP referral to use our online dermatology service in the UK.
Do I pay if no assessment can be made remotely?
No. If our doctors are unable to assess your case remotely, you’ll automatically receive a full refund — no action required from you. The refund will be returned to your original payment method in line with your bank’s processing times, usually within 5–7 business days.
Is online dermatology (teledermatology) safe in the UK?
Yes. Research shows teledermatology is effective and safe. Because most skin conditions are visual — from rashes and spots to lesions and flare-ups — dermatologists can assess them reliably from photos and descriptions. Adviskin uses only GMC-registered dermatologists to ensure trusted care.
Data Protection & Privacy
How can I stay anonymous?
Adviskin is designed for complete privacy. You don’t need to provide your name, email, or any identifying information to receive an assessment. After payment, you receive a unique secure code to retrieve your report — no account or login required.
How safe is my data with Adviskin?
All data is encrypted and stored securely in compliance with GDPR and UK healthcare standards. Only medical staff can access your case.
Where are my photos stored?
Photos are stored on secure, encrypted servers in the UK and never shared without your consent.

Adviskin accepts the following payment methods:

Trust, Safety & Regulatory Compliance
How do I know Adviskin is regulated and trustworthy?
Adviskin® is a registered trademark of Adviskin LTD (Company No. 16292979). Our service follows strict UK healthcare standards and data protection laws and requirements (GDPR, ICO). Every case is reviewed by GMC-registered doctors, ensuring safety, expertise, and compliance. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and trust.
Our service is also aligned with NHS best practice standards for digital health and follows the same safeguards you would expect from in-person care.
Can Adviskin replace an in-person dermatologist?
Adviskin can provide expert dermatology advice online for most common skin concerns — quickly, privately, and without the need to visit a clinic. Because many skin conditions can be assessed from photos and your described symptoms and medical history, our GMC-registered dermatologists are able to give accurate, personalised recommendations remotely.
However, Adviskin is not designed to fully replace in-person dermatology in every situation. Some cases — such as suspected skin cancer, urgent or severe symptoms, or when a physical examination or procedure (like a biopsy or treatment in clinic) is required — will still need face-to-face care.
If our doctors believe your case cannot be safely evaluated online, we will advise you to see a dermatologist in person, and you’ll receive a full refund.
Prescriptions & Medicines
Can Adviskin prescribe controlled drugs?
No. Adviskin does not prescribe Schedule 1–5 controlled drugs under any circumstances. Our focus is on safe, evidence-based dermatology advice and treatment recommendations.
What should I do if I have a reaction to a recommended medicine?
If you experience any reaction, stop using the product immediately and:
- • Contact your GP, or
- • Call NHS 111 for urgent advice.
You should also inform us at support@adviskin.com so our doctors are aware. This advice is for general guidance only and does not replace emergency care.
